We recently completed a successful installation of our secondary glazing in a quaint cottage in Ashbourne. Our client, Chris, was facing heat loss issues, particularly in this beautiful old building nestled in the Derbyshire countryside.

We recently undertook a fascinating project involving a school where our client's primary concern was enhancing security. In addition to addressing this need, our secondary glazing solution also provided added benefits of preventing heat loss and reducing noise levels. What made this project particularly interesting was our proposal to work during the night to avoid disruption to the classrooms. For this commercial project, we installed secondary glazing using Thermal 6.4 Low E glass, designed to minimise heating bills by improving energy efficiency. The installation was smooth and precise, with no mess or mistakes, ensuring a perfect fit. We carefully removed a subframe on one side to reduce the mullion width for enhanced sightlines. While measuring for this job involved a complex behind-the-scenes process, we enjoyed every challenge and are proud of the flawless result.

Outside the property stood a charming hedge sculpted into the shape of a teapot—a delightful feature that reflected the unique character of this home.
