All of our Secondary Glazing systems are designed and sourced with the UKs leading manufacturer of Secondary Glazing and are available in over 200 RAL colours and available in a number of different styles to best match the sight lines of your primary windows.

What is Secondary Glazing?

With secondary glazing, you enjoy all the benefits that come with an extra layer of insulation over your windows. Our customers receive an 80% reduction in noise breaching the primary window and up to 66% reduction in heat loss over single glazing with a u-value as low as 1.3w/m2k achieved with secondary glazing and heavy curtains. It is also 10% more heat efficient than double glazing. In addition to all of this, our systems enhance the security of your property. We are able to offer a wide range of styles and colours, aiding our ability to meet unique requirements, whether it be for your home, for listed buildings or conforming to a commercial specification. In addition to it’s performance, our systems offer a sympathetic approach against the primary window; matching sight-lines to look as unobtrusive as possible from the inside as well as out. This is especially helpful when it comes to listed buildings, specifically concerning Grade I & Grade II listed buildings, or properties within a conservation area.

Specifically Secondary glazing for listed buildings gives owners of heritage and historic buildings the ability to bring their often underperforming thermal and acoustic properties inline with today’s industry standards. Secondary glazing for listed buildings is an efficient and effective way to increase the performance of the property and the comfort of the homeowner whilst maintaining the functionality and not detracting from the authentic external appearance.
